About - Irishtown is a web series based on the books by Eamon Loingsigh, "Light of the Diddicoy" and "Exile on Bridge Street." The books follow Irish gangsters in Brooklyn in the 1910s. It is told in the voice of  William “Liam” Garrity, looking back on his life with the Brooklyn Irish-American gang known as The White Hand.
